CULINARY SCHOOL BILL:
CHRAN urges Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly to override Governor Umo Eno’s veto on Bills which assent are withheld by Governor in line with Section 100(5) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended).
This position was part of the submission made by the Center for Human Rights and Accountability Network (CHRAN) through its Director, Otuekong Franklyn Isong, at the House of Assembly during a Public Hearing on a Bill for a Law to Establish the Akwa Ibom State School of Culinary Studies/Hospitality Management and a Baord and other Matters Connected Thereto, on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
