The Center for Human Rights and Accountability Network (CHRAN) has tasked the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno and the Chairmen of the 31 local government councils in the state to be accountable and transparent in the spending of the State’s monthly allocation accruing from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC).

The CHRAN made this assertion through its Director, Otuekong Franklyn Isong, while fielding questions from a live radio interview on Passion 94.5 FM, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Wednesday, 30th July, 2025.

The good governance-cum-human rights advocacy group noted that the body has tracked funds allocated to the State and the 31 Local Governments from the FAAC and urged the governments to ensure adequate usage of the funds, particularly on live touching people’s oriented projects.
