POTHOLE: ORON ROAD BY URUAN STREET

Today, Monday, August 11, 2025, the CHRAN team visited the ongoing repair and maintenance of Oron Raod by Uruan street in Uyo metropolis.

The CHRAN team was led by its Director, Otuekong Franklyn Isong. The job is being executed by the Government of Akwa Ibom State through Amitec Construction Company.

CHRAN observation, some underground utility pipes had been damaged causing serious leakage of waters to occur underground resulting to the repeated failure of the maintenance of potholes on that spot where there situates a manhole.

The CHRAN had made several advocacies for this project to be carried out properly by the relevant state government agencies and today, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, Ph.D, has directed that action be taken to permanently fix the road. The CHRAN commends the Governor for his response.
